Procerin - The Facts

Procerin is a non-prescription supplement that is available in tablet and topical forms. It is used every day for treatment of hair loss in men. Procerin is used in treatment of male pattern hair loss, a condition called androgenic alopecia. This type of baldness results in a receding hair line and hair thinning.

Androgenic alopecia results from high levels of a hormone called DHT in their scalp. This hormone is a by-product of testosterone. When testosterone is converted to DHT in the scalp, hair loss results. Procerin is made to block the conversion of testosterone to DHT so as to stop hair loss caused by high DHT levels.

Procerin, unlike prescription DHT blockers, does not react directly with testosterone. Because of this, Procerin doesn't produce the sexual side effects like some prescription DHT blockers, like Propecia (finasteride) do. Procerin can be used in men of all ages with all degrees of hair loss. It can even be used by men who want to prevent hair loss.

Procerin ingredients include natural supplements like saw palmetto, vitamin B6, hydrogenated castor oil, roobios leaf extract, gotu kola, grape seed extract, evening primrose oil, panthenol, avocado oil, and peppermint oil. The active ingredients in Procerin are natural and have been used orally and topically for many years. They do not produce sexual side effects.

A small percentage of men taking Procerin tablets have reported mild stomach upset. This can be alleviated by taking Procerin with food. People with sensitive skin on their scalp should apply the topical Procerin foam only once a day for the first week. Procerin works best in men under age 35, and older men who have hair that is still in a growth phase.

As men with progressive baldness get older, their hair's growth cycle does not keep pace with the loss of hair. For men whose hair is not in a growth phase, the benefits of Procerin are limited to keeping the hair that remains. Procerin is used once in the morning and once at night, before bed.

Of course, the natural question on most people's minds is "Does Procerin work?" A study was conducted with 32 screened volunteers who used a combination of topical and ingested Procerin. The subjects completed a baseline questionnaire and photos were taken before therapy with Procerin started.

Before supplementation began, the subjects were examined, photographed, and questioned by the Study coordinator or investigator. The subjects were given Procerin and were instructed not to take any other hair growth products during the period of the study, which was 90 days. After 90 days, 21 subjects were photographed again, questioned, and assessed to determine satisfaction. At the conclusion of the study, a majority of the subjects noted that they had benefited from the Procerin supplements. Nineteen of the 21 subjects who completed the study stated that they were satisfied with Procerin's results.

Procerin reviews have been positive, and it has been proven to be safe and effective, with no sexual side effects. In most subjects, improvement was noted after one to two months
